CITIZEN KANE One of Citizen Kanes main themes was the idea that puerility is upset. Throughout the nifty flash, Kane was seen nerve-racking to recapture his youth. I feel this theme was brought out specialised totallyy in many scenes. The most prominent one in my mind was his last word, rosebud. He was obviously thinking of his sledge from his childhood. Another scene that represents lost childhood in the ask is the ones with the little snow globe. The cabin in the globe mustiness have reminded him of his mothers boarding house. I think that is one of the reasons he did not destroy the globe as he was destroying everything else in Suzies room. One technique that I especially liked was the flash endures. I liked watching Kanes life through the eyes of coterie who were close to him. I thought it made it more rear than just seein g it through Kanes eyes. One movie that reminds me of the lost childhood theme is Big, starring Tom Hanks. This is the only likeness I see in the two movies. In the Big, Hanks loses his childhood and wants to go back; I think Kane wants to go back in like manner.

My overall reaction to Citizen Kane was favorable. It certainly wasnt my favourite film of all times, provided I would definitely press it to others.
